Ingredients

2 bags Success® White or Success® Brown Rice
1 lb bulk turkey sausage
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes & green chilies, undrained
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded reduced-calorie Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

Prepare rice according to package directions.

Crumble sausage into large skillet. Cook until lightly browned. Stir occasionally to break up sausage. Drain fat. Add onions. Cook until tender. Stir in diced tomatoes and green chilies, chili powder and rice. Simmer 2 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.

RECIPE IDEA:  When stirring in tomatoes, chili powder, and cooked rice ... try adding six large eggs, beaten well.  Cover and cook for about 5 minutes or until eggs are set.  Stir occasionally to scramble the eggs.  Sprinkle with cheese and serve.
Brown Rice is an excellent source of whole grains.
