Restaurant Challenge is an online contest encouraging you to share quick and easy restaurant-style recipes prepared on a budget which can feed 4 for $10 at home. Submit your recipes for a chance to win. The winning recipes will be judged based on their taste, creativity, appearance and ease of preparation. The recipes must be original and not previously published.
Contest entries must be received by November 1, 2009 11:59:59 PM Central Time and can be submitted only through this website (www.successrice.com/feed4for10). All recipes must include any Success® Rice product (brown, white or jasmine) and be a main dish – no appetizers, side dishes or desserts will be accepted. The recipes should be ready in 30 minutes or less, including preparation and cooking time. Entries must be in the standard recipe format, including a list of ingredients and measurements, cooking directions, cooking times and number of servings. All recipes must include the dish and restaurant name.
Riviana Foods Inc. ("Sponsor") reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify any contest not capable of completion as planned. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries constitute permission to edit, modify, publish and otherwise use the recipe in any way without compensation. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete entries or any entries not received for any reason, including entrant internet connection or network difficulties resulting in the inability to submit electronic entry.
Open to legal United States residents who are 18 years of age or older, except employees of Sponsor, its parent company, affiliate and subsidiary companies, their public relations and advertising agencies, the immediate families of the foregoing, and any person who receives compensation on a regular basis for any activity related to the development of recipes or preparation of food, such as chefs, caterers, food writers, home economists. Void outside the U.S. and where prohibited. Subject to applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
Winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability and Publicity Release which must be returned within 7 days of notification or an alternate winner will be chosen. Except where prohibited, acceptance of prize offered constitutes consent that Sponsor may use winner’s name and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without further compensation.
By entering, participants release Sponsor, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates and respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize. In the event of noncompliance with any requirements, or if prize or prize notification is returned or is otherwise undeliverable, prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Income and other taxes on prize, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize transfer or cash substitutes allowed, except at Sponsor’s sole discretion, in which case a prize of equal value may be substituted.
PRIZES: First Place winner will be awarded a $500 gift card and variety pack of Success Rice; Second Place winner will be awarded a $250 gift card and variety pack of Success Rice; and Third Place winner will be awarded a $100 gift card and variety pack of Success Rice. SEVEN (7) runners-up winners will each receive a variety pack of Success Rice. (
